Earthstream is proud to be recruiting a Business Development Manager - Transportation for a leading industrial automation solutions provider focusing on innovative projects across multiple industries.

Job Role:

Business Development Manager - Transportation

Location:

Telford/Remote

Salary:

Up to £100,000 plus £6k car allowance, bonus scheme & benefits

Responsibilities:

  • Present the business to potential clients through direct or digital communication.
  • Provide a high-quality service to potential and existing customers.
  • Maintain the company's reputation as a leading-edge systems integrator.
  • Generate new leads and make suitable appointments, exploring all sales opportunities.
  • Travel will be significant, including overnight stays and occasional overseas trips.
  • Manage the entire sales process from lead generation to order closing and project handover.
  • Prepare proposals and specifications with support from the Sales Applications team.
  • Stay informed about industry issues, competitor activities, and technological developments.
  • Represent the company at industry events and trade shows to generate new contacts and leads.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant standards and company procedures, including ISO9001 & ISO14001.
  • Support other company activities proactively and maintain good relationships with customers, suppliers, and colleagues.
  • Perform other duties as required.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Minimum of five years' experience in a similar role.
  • Knowledge of systems integration, including VSDs, PLCs, Robotics, SCADA/HMI, MES/MIS, and autonomous mobile applications.
  • Proven success in selling solutions across industrial applications.
  • Established senior-level customer contacts.
