Job Overview:

As a Business Development Manager, you will play a critical role in identifying and executing market entry strategies to support TEKEVER’s continued global growth. You will be an experienced business development professional with experience operating within the defence and security markets. You will have a passion for problem-solving and driving business solutions that meet the evolving needs of our customers.

You will be a team player with excellent communication skills and capable of working as part of cross-functional teams to deliver within challenging timeframes.

  • What will be your responsibilities:
  • Market Strategy: Execute the market entry strategy forTEKEVER platforms in designated regions, focusing on market analysis,customer engagement, and sales strategy.
  • Customer Relationship Development: Build strong, trusted relationships with key stakeholders to identify and develop opportunities.
  • Sales Pipeline Management: Oversee and manage the sales pipeline to convert market insights into actionable business opportunities.
  • Business Solution Development: Collaborate with the wider team to develop business solutions that meet the evolving requirements of defence customers
  • Collaborative Approach: Work closely with the engineering, operations, and wider TEKEVER teams to ensure alignment in delivering market strategies and capabilities.
  • Tender Management: contribute to the development and submission of tender responses in the region, ensuring successful outcomes.
  • Industry Engagement: Attend relevant conferences, exhibitions, and events to support business development and identify new opportunities for collaboration.

Profile and requirements:

  • 5-year degree (engineer or business school)
  • Proven experience in business development within the defence and security sector
  • Strong understanding of the defence and security market, particularly in relation to unmanned air systems
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Language Requirements: Advanced proficiency in English, with proven fluency at the C2 level. French, Spanish or Portuguese would be an advantage.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Understanding of export rules, regulations, and compliance
  • Available to work based in Toulouse or Madrid
