VANRATH is delighted to have partnered with a leading Managed Service Provider to recruit a Business Developer to join their talented team.

Salary/Benefits
A generous remuneration package is offered for this position, including £30,000 - £35,000 plus commission (OTE £60,000 - £70,000). Additionally, the role includes a range of benefits such as a company car and equipment.

The Ideal Person

  • Previous field-based sales experience within a consultative selling environment.
  • Proven track record of achieving or exceeding targets.
  • Experience in a target-driven environment with a proactive attitude and strong business acumen.
  • Ability to think quickly and stay ahead of sales forecasts to meet weekly, monthly, and quarterly targets.
  • Essential: Telecoms or IT experience

Responsibilities

  • Prospect for potential new clients and convert this into increased business.
  • Identify potential clients and decision-makers within organizations.
  • Handle objections by clarifying points, emphasizing agreements, and working towards positive outcomes.
  • Use appropriate styles of persuasion and negotiation.
  • Research and build relationships with new clients.
  • Achieve gross profit targets.
  • Identify opportunities for campaigns, services, and channels to increase sales.
  • Make introductory calls to prospective clients as needed.
