Business Development Manager (Tech, Media, IP & Competition) - 12 Month FTC

Are you a Business Development professional looking for an exciting opportunity with a sector-driven, technology-focused law firm? Our client is seeking a Business Development Manager to join their team for a 12-month FTC maternity cover role. This position can be based in London, Manchester, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Sheffield, or Bristol.

About the Role:

  • Lead and support an integrated group of IP, Technology, and Media lawyers.
  • Target potential clients and develop existing relationships.
  • Stay updated on relevant developments, legislation, and regulations.
  • Create engaging pitch documents and presentations.
  • Coordinate and host events, seminars, webinars, and socials.
  • Develop and execute marketing campaigns.
  • Prepare legal directory and award submissions.
  • Contribute to business planning and budgeting.
  • Maintain BD systems and infrastructure.

About You:

  • Significant Business Development and/or Marketing experience in a law firm.
  • Strong written and numerical skills.
  • Proactive approach with excellent prioritization skills.
  • Focus on process improvement and automation.
