Salary - £40,000 + Car Allowance / OTE £70,000 - £80,000 (uncapped)

We're now hiring a Business Development Manager Team Leader to join our high-performing sales division. In this role, you’ll directly manage a team of Business Development Managers (BDMs), helping them unlock their potential and deliver outstanding results. You’ll play a key role in coaching, mentoring, and providing strategic support – all while delivering on your own sales targets too.

What will you do?

As Business Development Manager Team Leader, you’ll take ownership of your team’s development, performance, and productivity. You’ll be their go-to for escalations, technical support, diary management, and coaching – all while delivering your own revenue targets.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting your BDM team with high-level technical queries and sales opportunities
  • Coaching team members to reach their full potential
  • Managing diaries and time efficiently to maximise productivity
  • Delivering training on new and existing products
  • Monitoring performance and reporting progress or concerns to the Head of Sales
  • Conducting regular 1-2-1s with team members and joining reviews with the Head of Sales
  • Maintaining behaviours aligned with company values and addressing issues where needed
  • Hitting your own sales targets while helping your team hit theirs

What you’ll need

  • Highly organised with strong time-management skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and admin capabilities
  • Clear, confident communication – both written and verbal
  • Understanding of end-to-end sales processes and how to optimise them
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a team-oriented mindset
  • Ability to turn challenges into opportunities and coach others to do the same
  • Commercial awareness and a focus on results
    Confident in giving clear, constructive feedback

Nice to have

  • Proven track record in direct sales and/or sales management
  • Previous experience in the telecoms industry
    Comfortable using MS Office, particularly Excel
