Are you ready to lead the charge in sustainable roofing? At SIG Roofing, we're investing in the future-and we're looking for a passionate and knowledgeable Business Development Manager - Solar PV to help us grow our renewable offering across the Southeast and East Anglia region. As our regional expert in Solar PV, you'll play a pivotal role in developing new revenue streams, driving customer engagement, and positioning SIG Roofing as a key distributor in the PV roofing sector.

What you'll be doing:

  • Build and grow our Solar PV customer base across the region
  • Be the go-to expert for sustainable roofing solutions
  • Work with branches and external sales teams to upskill and support on solar opportunities
  • Drive profitability and product availability in line with customer needs
  • Identify and engage with new suppliers to bring innovative products to market
  • Contribute to training content that supports our teams and customers on their solar journey
What you'll bring:
  • Knowledge of Solar PV systems and sustainable building practices
  • A strong grasp of new building legislation in this sector
  • Excellent communication, presentation and influencing skills
  • Confidence engaging at all levels internally and externally
  • Strong IT skills and experience using CRM systems
  • A proactive, can-do approach and the ability to work independently
  • Full UK driving licence (essential)
