This is a new, exciting position with a long established security solutions provider in the UK. The role is to join as a Business Development Manager, based in the UK. Job Title: Business Development Manager

Role
  1. The key responsibilities include developing new business and managing accounts across multiple verticals throughout the UK.
  2. Growing and developing the account base, hunting for new opportunities, and cultivating new building projects.
  3. The role involves solution selling of security systems installation, such as video surveillance, access control, intruder alarms, cloud-based security solutions, and remote monitoring.
  4. This position requires being autonomous, self-generating leads, and managing appointments.
  5. The successful candidate will join a sales team of 12, required to meet and exceed targets, and convert marketing strategies into sales.
  6. This is a challenging, exciting, and rewarding role within a stable organization experiencing rapid growth.
Candidate
  1. We are seeking candidates already working as Business Development Managers in the electronic security sector or Account Managers feeling undervalued and unchallenged in their current roles.
  2. Applicants should have a minimum of 3 years' experience in the electronic security sector.
  3. The ideal candidate will be ambitious, disciplined, well-organized, and focused on closing deals.
  4. Experience managing complex sales cycles and selling security systems into the commercial or public sectors is preferred.
  5. Candidate should be confident interfacing with various organizational levels and possess polished communication and presentation skills.
The Package
  1. The role offers a basic salary of £70,000 - £75,000 with a realistic OTE of £130,000+ based on uncapped commissions.
