Business Development Manager / Sales Executive with proven sales experience in a BDM role within a debt collection agency or similar, strong knowledge of regulation and credit industry best practices, and the tenacity and drive to succeed, is required for a well-established company based in Knowsley, Merseyside, North West England.

SALARY: £50,000 - £55,000 per annum (depending on experience) + Benefits

LOCATION: Hybrid role – working from the office in Knowsley, Merseyside, North West England (L33) and from home – some travel will also be required

Job Overview

We have a new opportunity for a Business Development Manager / Sales Executive with proven sales experience in a BDM role within a debt collection agency or similar. The role requires good knowledge of regulation and credit industry best practices, along with tenacity and drive to succeed.

As a Business Development Manager / Sales Executive, you will work closely with the Sales and CRM teams on all aspects related to client acquisition and retention. The focus will be on prospecting and marketing to support the company's growth ambitions.

Key Duties
  • Collaborate with the SVP, Market Development, Europe & Asia, and senior management to support organizational priorities and increase market position.
  • Identify profitable business opportunities and engage with key stakeholders, primarily targeting large UK and Eire businesses.
  • Engage directly with key opportunities and contribute to board-level presentations.
  • Represent the company professionally at meetings and events.
Candidate Requirements
  • Proven experience in a business development/sales role within a debt collection agency or similar.
  • Knowledge of regulation and credit industry best practices.
  • Ability to build and maintain internal and external relationships.
  • Professional communication skills across all levels.

  • Ability to monitor and analyze collection results and implement procedural improvements.
