Business Development Manager / Sales Executive who has proven sales experience in a BDM role within a debt collection agency or similar, good knowledge of regulation and credit industry best practice and the tenacity and drive to succeed, is required for a well-established company based in Knowsley, Merseyside, North West England.

SALARY: £50,000 - £55,000 per annum (depending on experience) + Benefits

LOCATION: Hybrid role – working from the office in Knowsley, Merseyside, North West England (L33) and from home – some travel will also be required

We a new job opportunity available for a Business Development Manager / Sales Executive who has proven sales experience in a BDM role within a debt collection agency or similar, good knowledge of regulation and credit industry best practice and the tenacity and drive to succeed.

Working as a Business Development Manager / Sales Executive you will fill a newly created role which will involve working closely with the Sales and CRM team on all aspects relating to the acquisition and retention of clients.

As the Business Development Manager / Sales Executive you will have particular focus on prospecting and marketing to help the business achieve its significant growth ambitions.

DUTIES

Your duties as the Business Development Manager / Sales Executive will include:

  • Work closely with the SVP, Market Development, Europe & Asia and the wider Senior Management Team to support and contribute to the organisation’s priorities, mission, vision, and core values aimed at increasing the company’s already dominant position within a highly specialised area
  • Identify profitable business opportunities and key stakeholders across a variety of sectors, typically targeting the UK and Eire largest businesses
  • Work closely with the SVP, Market Development, Europe & Asia to engage directly with key opportunities and work towards contributing during board level presentations
  • Must be the consummate professional at all times, representing the company during meetings and at corporate events

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven experience in a business development / sales role within a debt collection agency or similar
  • Regulation and credit industry best practice, knowledge of debt collection industry
  • Possess the ability to build and maintain good internal/external relations
  • Ability to interface with client relationships of all levels both internally and externally with the utmost professionalism
  • Cope with working under pressure and to deadlines
  • Drive, tenacity and a real desire to turn this golden opportunity into a new career
  • Ability to satisfactorily monitor collection results and to analyse these results in relationship to collection methods and delivering procedural change
  • Outstanding ability to determine collection problems and to find solutions to ensure productivity
  • Demonstrate or acquire comprehensive knowledge and use of all systems including CRM, processes, and reports to maximise collection potential
  • Possess Excellent presentation skills, real tenacity and a will to win
