Job Description:

This role is UK-based with remote/flexible working arrangements. It is a full-time position with our client, a provider of engineering and risk management solutions, seeking a Business Development Manager to promote growth in the Renewable Energy sector, focusing on Wind, Oil, and Gas (both onshore and offshore). This is a strategic, impactful role in one of the UK’s rapidly evolving industries.

The successful candidate will build long-term client and channel partnerships, deliver tailored asset reliability and maintenance solutions, and support the transition towards a more sustainable energy infrastructure.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage strategic relationships within Wind, Oil, and Gas sectors
  • Identify new project, regional, and account opportunities to maximize growth
  • Lead technical proposals and commercial bids
  • Coordinate with internal teams for smooth project delivery
  • Produce profitable quotes aligned with customer needs
  • Support long-term sales strategy and pipeline growth
  • Oversee technical sign-offs and peer reviews of proposals
Requirements
  • Engineering degree or related field; Chartered or Incorporated status is a plus
  • Experience in load monitoring or a technical/engineering environment (desirable)
  • Understanding of UK renewable energy landscape, especially Wind and Oil & Gas
  • Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems
  • Full UK driving license
