As part of our growth strategy, we are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager who understands the industry to drive new business opportunities, expand and develop our systems range, and build our brand in the industry.
Position Overview:
The Business Development Manager (BDM) will play a key role in identifying, developing, and nurturing new business opportunities within the roofing and façade industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the construction and facade markets, a proven track record of sales success, and the ability to build relationships with key personnel.This role will be responsible for both strategic planning and hands-on execution to increase revenue, market presence, and profitability. Qualifications (Preferred):
• 3+ years of experience in business development, sales, or account management within the construction, building materials, or roofing products industries.
• Proven track record of driving sales and developing new business opportunities.
• Strong knowledge of the industry materials, installation processes, and market trends.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
• Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners.
• Self-motivated, results-orientated, and capable of working independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Skills:
• Experience working with distributors, contractors, and architects in the roofing or construction industry.
• Understanding of building codes and regulations related to roofing and façade products.
• Strong network within the roofing industry and related fields.
• Communication Skills: Strong, articulate, and confident in presenting to clients and prospects.
• Organisational Skills: Ability to organize tasks and maintain trustworthiness.
• Motivation: A self-starter attitude with a strong drive to meet growth objectives.
• Driving License: A clean driving license is often required for travel.
