About the role

We are seeking an eCommerce Business Development Manager for our rapid grocery delivery platform, Scoot. Reporting to the Head of Home Delivery, based in Sandown, with a field role covering London, Bournemouth & Southampton.

You will work with a team of BDMs to drive our Rapid Grocery Delivery Plan, supporting symbol partners across Premier, Londis, Budgens, and Family Shopper to succeed in the rapid grocery market.

Responsibilities include:

  • Strategic recruitment and onboarding of symbol stores.
  • Achieving KPIs and developing strategies to increase sales and profitability.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with stores, providing support and resolving challenges.
  • Monitoring performance metrics and identifying growth opportunities.
  • Collaborating with retailers and internal teams to solve problems.
  • Sharing best practices and developing sector expertise.
  • Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.

Requirements:

  • Deep knowledge of the grocery retail market and successful sales strategies.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills.
