Business Development Manager - Rail (Light Rail)

Location: Home-based with UK travel

We are seeking an experienced sales professional to join our rapidly growing Rail team focused on UK Light Rail. The role involves working from home and traveling across the UK to meet Light Rail clients and prospects as needed.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement sales strategies for the UK Light Rail market.
  • Drive sales growth and profitability in the Rail sector.
  • Engage with stakeholders in local authorities, transport operators, government, and infrastructure partners.
  • Maintain and enhance customer satisfaction and advocacy.
  • Collaborate with bid and proposal teams to create compelling proposals.
  • Manage existing Light Rail client accounts.
  • Utilize data to identify leads and promote group solutions and Telent capabilities.
  • Maintain accurate sales forecasts and pipeline reports using Salesforce.
Candidate Profile:

Ideal candidates will have prior experience as a Business Development or Sales Manager within the UK Light Rail sector, with:
