Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join our Rail team focused on UK Light Rail. This role involves working from home with travel to Light Rail customers and prospects across the UK as needed.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute sales strategies for the UK Light Rail market.
  • Drive sales and profit growth within the Rail sector.
  • Engage with stakeholders in local authorities, transport operators, government, and infrastructure partners.
  • Maintain and improve customer satisfaction and advocacy.
  • Collaborate with bid and proposal teams to develop customer-focused proposals.
  • Manage existing Light Rail clients and utilize data to generate leads and sell group solutions.
  • Maintain accurate sales forecasts and pipeline reports using Salesforce and Sales Plans.
Candidate Profile

Ideal candidates will have prior experience as a Business Development or Sales Manager within the UK Light Rail sector, with:

  • Account management and sales experience in the Light Rail market.
