A fast-growing technology solutions provider is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to drive growth in its physical security division, with a focus on surveillance, access control, intrusion detection, and integrated security systems.

The ideal candidate will bring proven experience in B2B sales ideally within an IT reseller, systems integrator, or technology vendor. Experience in selling technology solutions or services is highly advantageous. You'll work closely with technical teams and vendors to identify opportunities, respond to tenders, and close deals that solve real-world security challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support all of the sales teams in developing strategic customer relationships, positioning Verkada effectively, and enabling confidence in customer conversations.
  • Act as the go-to Verkada expert for internal training, onboarding, and enablement across all levels, including new starters and leadership teams.
  • Own and achieve a defined gross profit (GP) target, monitoring P&L performance and driving pipeline activity through reporting and follow-up.
  • Collaborate with marketing to create and execute tailored campaigns that support Verkada growth and customer engagement.
  • Manage the relationship with Verkada, including partner status, accreditations, joint planning, resource alignment, and regular business reviews.

Skills/Must have:

  • B2B Experience, around 2/3 year (this is not a senior role)
  • Selling solutions or a service (not products)
  • Managing leads coming into the sales team

Nice to have:

  • Have sold any Verkada solutions

Location:

  • Pocklington - 2/3 Days a week

Salary:

  • £30,000 - £35,000 Basic Salary + £10,000 OTE
