Job description

Alfa Laval UK&I is seeking a Business Development Manager to join our Food and Water division, focusing on Pharmaceutical and Biotech sectors. This role involves driving growth by acquiring new customers, presenting our value proposition, securing homologations, and expanding our network. The position is home-based in the UK or Ireland, with frequent travel across the UK&I region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage leads to grow the business pipeline.
  • Engage with customers to understand their needs and promote our solutions.
  • Support new product launches and market initiatives.
  • Build internal relationships across departments.
  • Scout and develop new end-user customer bases.
  • Establish relationships with pharma EUs, system builders, and EPCs.

Candidate Profile:

  • Self-motivated team player with strong networking skills.
  • Deep understanding of pharmaceutical products, drug development, and regulations.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Strategic, results-driven, and analytical mindset.
  • Proficiency in CRM, MS Office, and BI platforms.
