Job description

We're looking for a Business Development Manager to strengthen our presence within the Nuclear sector, developing lasting customer relationships and identifying new business opportunities across the industry. This is a customer-facing role where you'll work with leading organisations in the Nuclear sector, helping them address complex operational challenges through innovative automation, control systems and engineering solutions.

You'll be responsible for managing a portfolio of key customer accounts while proactively developing new business across the Nuclear market. Working closely with our engineering, commercial and delivery teams, you'll help develop solutions that deliver genuine value, support customer requirements and contribute to the safe, reliable and efficient operation of critical Nuclear facilities.

From initial engagement through to long-term account development, you'll play a key role in driving revenue growth, strengthening strategic partnerships and expanding ITI Group's position within the Nuclear industry.

We're looking for someone with a strong background in Control Systems (S&C) and experience working within the Nuclear sector. You'll bring an understanding of the industry's regulatory environment, operational challenges and evolving technology requirements, alongside excellent relationship-building skills, commercial awareness and the ability to identify opportunities that support both our customers' objectives and ITI Group's continued growth.

If you're passionate about developing strategic partnerships, enjoy working in a consultative sales environment and want to be part of a business delivering critical automation and control solutions to the Nuclear industry, we'd love to hear from you.

This role offers flexibility in location, and we'd particularly welcome applications from candidates based in or around the South of the UK, with the ability to travel to customer sites as required.

Noveum is a specialist engineering organisation providing system and design services to the nuclear and defence sectors. With a highly experienced team of engineers, Noveum delivers control and functional safety system solutions across the full project lifecycle, from requirements capture and design through to build, testing, installation, and commissioning. The business is built on strong technical expertise and a commitment to putting clients first, working collaboratively to develop solutions that deliver real, measurable value.

Noveum is proud to be part of the ITI Group. Through our 50 year history, ITI Group has combined the skills, experience, and knowledge of many recognised and respected industry names to become a leading partner for industry. We develop and integrate digital transformation solutions for Energy, Nuclear and Industrial manufacturing sectors. We advance safe, secure and sustainable operations through the innovative use of technology.

You’ll be joining a global brand with locations across the UK, Europe and North America. Our people work together with clients to solve problems, unlock the potential of the connected world, and create solutions that deliver value.

At the heart of ITI Group is a complete commitment to innovation and transformation. Our people are practical, insightful and dynamic, with a personal approach. You will:
  • Take ownership of a portfolio of strategic Nuclear customer accounts, developing long-term relationships that maximise customer value and business growth.
  • Act as a trusted advisor by understanding customer strategies, operational challenges, technology roadmaps and future requirements within the Nuclear sector.
  • Build and maintain relationships across all levels of customer organisations, from operational and engineering teams through to senior leadership and executive stakeholders.
  • Develop account growth plans that identify opportunities for expansion, cross-selling and upselling across the ITI Group portfolio.
  • Proactively identify, qualify and pursue new business opportunities across existing and prospective Nuclear customers.
  • Develop and execute business development strategies aligned with Nuclear market opportunities and ITI Group's growth objectives.
  • Generate and maintain a healthy sales pipeline through industry networking, market engagement, customer referrals and technology partner relationships.
  • Lead commercial discussions from initial engagement through to proposal development and contract award.
  • Position ITI Group's automation, control systems, digitalisation and engineering capabilities to address customer challenges and deliver measurable business value.

  • Connect customers with the appropriate technical experts throughout the sales lifecycle.
  • Support smooth project handovers whilst maintaining ownership of the customer relationship throughout delivery and beyond.
  • Maintain an accurate pipeline of opportunities within the CRM system, ensuring reliable forecasting and reporting.
  • Monitor account performance, customer activity and commercial progress against agreed growth targets.
  • Provide regular updates on pipeline health, customer risks and future opportunities.
  • Stay informed on Nuclear industry developments, market trends, competitor activity and emerging technologies.
  • Use industry knowledge to identify new opportunities and proactively advise customers on future technology strategies.
