We're looking for a motivated business development manager who can thrive in a fast-paced environment focusing on our Acute Care products within Patient Support Systems (Smart Beds/surface and Patient Handling) across our Baxter portfolio.

We rely on your expertise to research prospective customers and find opportunities! This role covers the Midlands across to Coventry and East Anglia and travel will be expected.

We're looking for someone:

  • With strong business acuity to support our business's continued growth. Demonstrates the ability to sell a wide and sophisticated product line whilst implementing appropriate prospecting strategies.
  • With committed, unmatched consultative selling and closing skills.
  • With a “can do” attitude and sales knowledge to develop contacts, introduce new products, and develop strategies.
  • Capable of building strong customer relationships.
  • Having an appreciation for the sophisticated medical market and curiosity about developing trends and initiatives in the UK.

In this role you will:

  • Drive our company strategy, objectives, and targets within the defined customer base.
  • Provide accurate forecasting and pipelining information and maintain strict monitoring of project, product, revenue, and timing details.
  • Bring individual thinking, strategies, and ideas to promote our company’s values, open culture, and future vision.

Education and experience:

  • Ideally, 2-4 years of sales experience in the medical device or related industry, with an understanding of the capital sales process.
  • Proven record of delivering sales goals or quotas (several years at or above quota).
  • Knowledge of tendering is an advantage.
  • Clinical experience in manual handling or physiotherapy is beneficial.
  • Experience using a CRM.
