Business Development Manager – Mailing & Postage Services

Salary £40,000–£50,000 DOE Uncapped Commission (Realistic OTE £75-90K)

Following significant investment and ambitious targets, this multi-million turnover mailing & communications company – is seeking a hungry, driven and experienced Business Development Manager to play a key role in accelerating its growth.
It is looking for a results-oriented sales professional with industry experience in printed mailing, postage, and fulfilment, who’s ready and able to make an immediate impact!
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively develop and close new business opportunities across our suite of bulk print, mail, and postage services
- Drive outbound sales efforts, targeting new clients and sectors aligned with the businesses growth plans
- Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to close, with a consultative, solution-led approach
- Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities within your customers
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding and exceptional customer experience
- Attend events, exhibitions, and client meetings to support brand visibility and lead generation
- Keep CRM data and sales forecasts up to date and report regularly on pipeline progress
What We’re Looking For
- Proven B2B new business sales experience, ideally in mailing, postage and fulfilment
- Track record of hitting and exceeding sales targets
- Strong network of contacts in the industry (preferred)
- Energetic, self-starting, and thrives on closing deals quickly and consistently
- Skilled at identifying and converting opportunities through consultative selling
- Excellent communicator – confident in delivering persuasive pitches and proposals
- Organised, focused, and accountable with strong pipeline discipline
- CRM experience (Salesforce or similar)
