Job Description:

Join our sales team at ASSA ABLOY as a Business Development Manager - Machine Protection / Safety Automation. Based in Sheffield, this role offers a collaborative culture that empowers your career development. The position is fully remote within the UK, with occasional travel to the Sheffield office.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop the Machine Protection Door business across the UK and meet sales targets outlined in the Business Plan and Commission Schedules.
  • Increase specifications, orders, and profitability of Machine Protection doors.
  • Identify and develop project opportunities, sharing insights across companies.
  • Build relationships with Integrators and Line Builders to foster business growth.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records, project documentation, and market intelligence.
  • Enhance brand awareness through targeted marketing campaigns and achieve sales KPIs.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Strong knowledge in machine protection and/or safety automation.
  • Excellent numerical skills for cost, pricing, and data analysis.
  • Proven sales experience with strong communication and relationship skills.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CRM systems, and project coordination.
