Role Information

Our Apprenticeship division is experiencing growth, and we seek a proactive individual with a proven track record in fast-paced environments. The candidate should possess skills and initiative to identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities.

DUTIES
  1. Deliver start targets aligned with our growth strategy.
  2. Conduct training needs analysis to meet client objectives, including mapping apprenticeship standards and funding programs.
  3. Mobilise new business opportunities and ensure smooth handover to the Key Account or Service Account team.
  4. Support marketing strategies to grow and maximize income from Levy-paying employers and partners.
  5. Engage with B2B leads via outreach campaigns using LinkedIn, email, and follow-up strategies.
  6. Research new employer needs, products, and markets to inform strategy.
  7. Build strong relationships with employers and stakeholders, maintaining our reputation as a customer-focused provider.
  8. Secure employer contracts and lead negotiations with team support.
  9. Contribute to adapting to changes in the Levy funding model and develop costed apprenticeship delivery models.
  10. Attend sector networking events and represent the company on advisory bodies and forums.
  11. Implement and adhere to policies on Equality & Diversity, Safeguarding, and Health & Safety.
  12. Perform duties as assigned by your line manager, consistent with your level of responsibility.
  13. Operate in line with company values and promote diversity and equal opportunities.

Experience & Skills

Previous successful business development experience, ideally within the FE sector or logistics.

Knowledge of the FE sector, funding streams, and Levy funding.

Excellent communication skills, stakeholder engagement, negotiation, strategic thinking, and product alignment abilities.
