We are hiring a Business Development Manager (BDM) with a background in IT recruitment or recruitment experience to help shape the future of tech hiring in London. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a fast-growing agency, backed by a well-established organisation, and play a key role in driving new business and expansion.

This role requires a blend of business development, client management, and an understanding of the recruitment process. You will focus on driving new business, building relationships with clients, and delivering recruitment solutions to clients across the technology sector.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Client Management
  • Identify and engage new clients within the technology sector, building and maintaining long-term partnerships.
  • Develop and manage relationships with existing clients, understanding their hiring needs and providing tailored business solutions.
  • Negotiate contracts and terms of business with clients to drive revenue and profitability.
Market Insights & Strategy
  • Provide industry insights, salary benchmarking, and trends to clients, helping them make informed hiring decisions.
  • Stay up to date with technology sector trends, emerging technologies, and hiring best practices to advise clients effectively.
Relationship Building & Networking
  • Attend networking events, technology meetups, and conferences to expand your professional network and strengthen brand presence.
  • Build and nurture relationships with key decision-makers within client organisations to become a trusted advisor for their hiring needs.
  • Work closely with the recruitment team to ensure that the business development strategy aligns with recruitment delivery and client expectations.
  • Support the recruitment team by providing insights into client needs and strategic goals.

What We Are Looking For

  • Experience: A background in recruitment (preferably IT or technical recruitment) with proven success in business development.
  • Business Development Skills: Demonstrated success in generating new business and managing client relationships.
  • Client-Focused: Ability to identify and understand client needs, offering tailored solutions that drive client satisfaction and business growth.
  • Relationship Building: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and build rapport at all levels.
  • Adaptability & Resilience: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, sales-driven environment, with a growth mindset and results-oriented approach.
