A leading independent financial services provider is seeking a Business Development Manager in the Midlands. This role involves client acquisition, networking, and application of financial expertise to develop lending opportunities. Our client, one of the UK’s leading independent providers of Financial Services to businesses, is seeking a Business Development Manager to join their growing team in the Midlands.
The primary responsibility will be to proactively seek and develop new clients and revenue, focusing on business lending opportunities, specifically Receivables Finance. The role also involves developing and maintaining an extensive network of introductory sources, including finance brokers, banks, accountants, and solicitors within your designated territory.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate an exceptional work ethic and a proven track record of high achievement in this or a related field. You should have a desire to succeed in a fast-paced transactional sales environment and act as an ambassador for the brand.
You must possess comprehensive technical and credit risk skills in structuring and positioning deals across the lending mandate, along with a thorough understanding of accounting principles and their practical application.
