Business Development Manager - Transport & Logistics (UK & Europe)

Location: UK (Hybrid/Field-Based)

Salary: £35,000-£45,000 per annum (Basic) + Commission + Car Allowance

Job Type: Full-time

An ambitious and fast-growing transport and logistics company is seeking a motivated Business Development Manager to drive strategic growth and expand its market footprint across the UK and Europe.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a forward-thinking organisation that's redefining transport solutions through innovation, reliability, and exceptional service. As the company continues to scale, we are looking for a dynamic professional who can help shape our growth journey by developing new business, nurturing existing client relationships, and driving revenue through insight-led strategy.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and implement strategic business development plans to achieve growth targets.
  2. Use CRM software to manage customer relationships and track sales activity.
  3. Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research and networking.
  4. Collaborate with internal teams to align service offerings with market needs.
  5. Analyse industry trends and competitor activity to inform sales and growth strategies.
About You:
  1. Proven experience in business development or sales, ideally within logistics or related industries.
  2. Proficient in CRM software (preferred).
  3. Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  5. Skilled at building and maintaining strong client relationships.
  6. Experience in market research and strategic planning (advantageous).
  7. Highly organised with good time management.
