Job Description:

The Green Recruitment Company has been exclusively engaged by a global leader in the development of innovative technologies and solutions to find a passionate and driven Commercial/Business Development Manager to be at the forefront of the Hydrogen Fuel Cell revolution.

With a demo site already established abroad, the client is now setting up a new team to launch their Energy Management System, which includes market-ready renewable energy & battery systems, along with their new fuel cell solutions. As the Commercial/Business Development Manager, you'll leverage your entrepreneurial business development experience to establish their UK operations with support from international colleagues.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish business partnerships across the entire hydrogen value chain (H2 Suppliers, Engineering Companies, Maintenance Companies, etc.)
  • Engage in project development with UK government/authorities & B2B potential customers
  • Identify, select, and manage projects under development by local developers/investors
  • Manage and monitor budgets
  • Develop and execute business plans and strategies to promote hydrogen fuel cell solutions
  • Prepare and deliver techno-commercial promotional materials to customers and partners
  • Lead promotion of the business's project portfolio
  • Collaborate with legal teams to establish JVs & partnerships
  • Plan and execute PR activities aligned with customer engagement
Requirements:
  • Proven track record in Business Development
  • Strong negotiation skills at all levels within government and customer organizations
  • Collaborative attitude and approach, including working with international teams
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and tenacity to drive initiatives forward
  • Ability to build business practices and management skills with a focus on compliance
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills
  • Strong analytical skills for data assessment and reporting
  • Experience in creating and aligning strategies to generate leads
  • Experience in the Energy Industry (Oil & Gas, EPC) and possibly hydrogen supply chain
  • Experience working in startups of similar size and nature
  • Willingness and ability to travel within the UK and Europe
  • Previous experience managing budgets and business plans
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Continuous learning and adaptability to change
