Job Description
A leading Fintech Marketing and Comparison company is evolving and is now seeking a Business Development Manager with IT experience to join their team.
This role offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced individual to join a company providing continuous progression opportunities.

Essential: IT experience.
Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 basic wage + discretionary bonus. Includes benefits such as salary review, performance bonuses, and development opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Grow sales volume and revenues within the Affinity Partnerships team by identifying and negotiating new strategic partnerships.
- Develop new business through market research, industry engagement, and prospecting.
- Create and deliver presentations to secure new business.
- Negotiate commercial and contractual terms effectively.
- Follow up inbound inquiries and pursue outbound leads.
- Act as a subject matter expert on the company's value proposition for potential partners.
- Stay updated on market trends and competitor activities.
- Monitor and improve sales processes.
- Provide regular updates and forecasts on sales pipelines.
- Attend meetings and exhibitions to support growth.
- Collaborate with other departments like Product Management, IT, and Marketing.
- Contribute to marketing collateral for partnership development.
- Mentor and supervise junior team members.
- Additional tasks as required.
Minimum Requirements
- Approximately 5 years' experience in B2B new business development.
- Proven success in negotiating and acquiring high-value business.
- Target-driven environment experience.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong analytical and data interpretation skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
- Ability to self-educate.
- Experience in partnerships or channel business development is a plus.
- Background in IT, e-commerce, fintech, or financial services is advantageous.
- Understanding of web/software development and familiarity with HubSpot, CRM, and Google Analytics are beneficial.
Education
- Degree in Business or IT, ideally with a 2:1 or equivalent, or relevant experience.
- Desirable: 3 B grades or above at A-Level (not essential).
