Our product portfolio included a comprehensive range of IV generic drugs, infusion therapies and clinical nutrition products as well as the medical devices for administering these products.

Role overview

Our Calea Business Development Managers are responsible for delivering sustainable growth in high tech clinical homecare service provision through effective account management and the development of new business opportunities. This role is full-time, field-based across the North-East so the ideal candidate would be based in the North-East.

Responsibilities

  • Managing internal and external customers to ensure service level agreements and contractual framework obligations are met, ensuring high levels of customer and patient satisfaction
  • Developing relationships with key decision makers, influencers and opinion leaders within intestinal failure hospital accounts
  • Identifying local and national trends within the NHS and specific therapy areas to highlight any impact for the Calea business
  • Resolving operational customer issues at a strategic level using a strong clinical and practical approach

Qualifications/experience

  • Excellent knowledge of the NHS/ Hospital/Secondary care environment
  • Knowledge of the current tendering processes and service level agreement delivery
  • Ability to multitask and identify wider opportunities and challenges
  • Prior success in a commercial and customer facing roles is essential
  • Ability to actively challenge and utilize excellent communication skills
  • Strong ability to build networks of internal stakeholders to ensure service is effective
  • To be self-motivated but able to work effectively and confidently as part of a team
  • Good organizational and time-management skills essential
  • Confidence presenting to large groups of people and understanding patient pathologies and complexities involved in the patient groups we care for
