This company specialises in providing sustainable solutions to ensure their clients have more efficient water consumption and reduced carbon emissions. They work closely with a range of public and private clients to help them achieve their sustainability goals and ensure full compliance with industry regulations. In their UK operations, the company focuses on energy efficiency and the decarbonisation of heat.

In this position, you will assist in expanding their operations across the South of Wales by securing customers for energy efficiency programmes, heat decarbonisation projects, and Public Sector Decarbonisation Schemes. The ideal candidate will have proven success within a sales-based position and the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with varied stakeholders. It would be advantageous if you had experience in energy efficiency/M&E projects, the Public Sector/NHS, or the decarbonisation market.

The Role

1. Business Development Manager
2. Inheriting an existing pipeline of work
3. Develop a network of repeat clientele
4. Lead proposals and tender strategies for new accounts
5. Manage a pipeline of new and developed accounts with regular updates to senior management

The Person:

1. Proven success in a sales-based position
2. Ability to successfully manage multiple stakeholders
3. Experience in bid writing and high-quality written communication
4. Verbal, written, and numerical skills
5. Experience in Energy Efficiency/M&E/Public Sector/NHS/Decarbonisation (desirable)
