The Opportunity

EHG's Pregnancy and Parenting division seeks an ambitious Business Development Manager to join our global team based in the UK. Reporting to the Healthcare Director, this role involves driving new business revenues for our clinical studies recruitment business. It’s an excellent opportunity for a strategic, results-driven individual with a strong understanding of digital media and the clinical studies landscape.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Identify new business opportunities, clients, and partnerships.
  2. Increase cross-platform revenues and grow existing business.
  3. Conduct cold calls to develop a robust pipeline of future opportunities.
  4. Build relationships with prospective clients in healthcare and pharmaceutical industries, including agencies.
  5. Research and establish relationships with potential clients and decision-makers.
  6. Arrange meetings between clients and company leaders.
  7. Develop proposals tailored to client needs and objectives.
  8. Travel for prospecting, client meetings, industry events.
  9. Collaborate internally to optimize quality and customer satisfaction.

Job Qualifications

  1. Minimum two (2) years of sales experience in Clinical Trials and the Pharmaceutical industries.
  2. Experience in medical education and/or patient recruitment campaigns is preferred.
  3. Ability to sell ideas, products, and services effectively.
  4. Proven track record of creating new business relationships.
  5. Knowledge of digital and data landscape is advantageous.
  6. Ability to analyze markets, customers, competitors, and prospects.
  7. Highly organized with multitasking and prioritization skills.
  8. Team player with collaborative working style.
