Business Development Manager – Surveying / Geospatial

Location: Any of our UK offices - Hybrid / Remote

Lucion is a leading provider of risk management and environmental consultancy services, delivering innovative solutions across construction, infrastructure, and environmental sectors. Our Geospatial Surveying division specialises in land, topographical, and utilities surveys, providing high-accuracy data to support infrastructure planning, design, and development.

With a strong reputation for technical excellence, compliance, and safety, we work with clients across utilities, highways, property, and major infrastructure projects.

Now, we’re looking for a Business Development Manager to expand our reach and drive commercial success in this fast-growing sector.

About the Role

As Business Development Manager, you will play a key role in growing Lucion’s Geospatial Surveying division, focusing on land, topographical, and utilities surveys. You’ll be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building client relationships, and securing contracts to support major projects across the UK.

This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially driven professional with a strong background in surveying services and a passion for geospatial solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a strategic business development plan to expand Lucion’s footprint in land, topographical, and utilities surveying.
  • Identify and engage with new and existing clients, securing opportunities within construction, infrastructure, and environmental sectors.
  • Promote Lucion’s surveying expertise and work closely with technical teams to ensure high-quality service delivery aligned with client requirements.
  • Represent Lucion at industry events, networking opportunities, and trade shows to increase brand awareness.
  • Stay informed on market trends, regulatory changes, and emerging geospatial technologies to drive innovation and competitive advantage.

About You

  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management within land, topographical, or utilities surveying.
  • A well-established network within construction, infrastructure, engineering, or utilities sectors.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Self-motivated, target-driven, and comfortable working independently or as part of a team.
  • Full UK driving licence and willing to travel to meet clients nationwide
