Defaqto Limited, a leader in financial product intelligence, seeks a Business Development Manager to enhance client relationships and generate new business in General Insurance and Banking sectors. The role involves maintaining a client portfolio and achieving sales targets through solution-selling and market insights.
We have recently launched a new industry-leading data and software solution, so we are looking for experienced account managers to manage, grow existing commercial relationships, and generate new customers.

What's the purpose of your role?
The role of Business Development Manager is critical to the success of Defaqto by supporting clients with marketing their products via our Star ratings and designing, creating, optimizing, and ensuring compliance through industry-leading software.
You will be responsible for managing and growing existing commercial relationships and generating new customers in the General Insurance and Banking sectors.
Internally, your job title will be Account Manager. All new business you acquire will also be managed by you.

Working Location
Our main office is in Haddenham, Buckinghamshire, with a small London base. Your role will be largely remote, but travel to meet clients and occasional overnight stays will be required. You will meet the team approximately once a month at the Haddenham office.
It is preferred that you are based within a few hours' commute of Haddenham, although this is not essential. Depending on experience, spending additional time in the office to learn about our business may be beneficial.
You need a valid UK driving license and access to a car, as reliance on public transport is not feasible for dispersed clients.
