Industry Sector: Fire Protection, Fire Stopping, Fire Doors, Fire Services, Fire Detection, Security Systems, Passive Fire, Fire Alarms, Fire & Security, Security Systems, Fire Barriers, Cavity Barrier, Cladding, Building Envelope, End Users, Sales Management

3 vacancies - area to be covered: National (ideally based centrally)

Remuneration: £60,000 - £70,000 + bonus to be confirmed

Benefits: car allowance & full usual benefit package

The role of the Business Development Manager – Fire Protection Services will involve:

  1. Managing 3 Business Development Manager positions focused on passive fire protection, fire stopping, fire door installation, and maintenance services.
  2. Depending on your experience, focusing on either passive fire, fire doors, or cladding.
  3. Spending your time selling to end users & facilities management companies.
  4. Targeting commercial, industrial, education, and leisure sectors.
  5. Working on projects such as schools, colleges, universities, and office blocks.
  6. Project order values can range from £200k to £2m.
  7. Turnover targets will be set based on your experience.
  8. The position is ideally based centrally for a national coverage.

The ideal applicant will be a Business Development Manager – Fire Protection Services with:

  1. Sales experience in the fire sector (either passive fire, fire doors, or cladding).
  2. Experience selling to end users & facilities management companies.
  3. Focus on commercial, industrial, education, and leisure sectors.
  4. Knowledge of industry standards is preferred.
  5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  6. Stable career background with attention to detail and organizational skills.
