ABOUT THE ROLE

Role Overview:

You will work within their London Pre-construction Division, closely with your Line Manager, developing existing client relationships and generating new business. Your responsibilities include following up on leads, issuing specifications, and managing the full sales and tendering process in coordination with the Estimating and Design departments.

The company has an office in central London but this role is primarily remote, so it suits someone who is self-sufficient and can work independently.

Your ability to manage the bid process—from technical solution reviews to client relationship development—will be crucial. You will play a key role in driving successful bid outcomes and contributing to the team’s overall success.

Requirements:

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Technical knowledge and qualifications within the Facade / Building Envelop industry.
  • Experience from a Technical or Estimating background with the ability to sell.
  • Proven track record in a customer-facing role, building client relationships, and producing estimates and tenders.
  • Ability to scrutinize and verify supplier and subcontractor quotations for compliance with specifications.
  • Ability to read drawings and design specifications.
  • Evidence of professional development and management skills, including leading and managing individual performance.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and estimation software.

Additional desirable qualifications include industry-specific qualifications, at least 10 years in a senior role, and existing relationships with clients and mechanical contractors.
