The Role

Due to the ongoing success of the business, they are now looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to drive the sales function within the company.

Responsibilities will include:

  1. Proactively driving revenue growth by identifying new business opportunities.
  2. Leading client relationships and developing accounts.
  3. Working with the senior team to develop a business development strategy.
  4. Targeting new prospective clients and converting them into confirmed business.
  5. Collaborating with proposals and pitches teams.
  6. Leading client meetings and introductory calls.
  7. Producing reports on sales activity.
  8. Developing a forward pipeline to sustain ongoing growth.
  9. Deeply understanding the service offering to position the company within the wider market.

The Candidate

We seek candidates with solid knowledge of the events sector from a production or technical supply perspective, with proven business development experience. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to proactively generate and convert business opportunities. Strong relationship-building and commercial skills are essential. Experience in devising sales strategies and managing sales teams would be advantageous.
