Job description

Togather started life as Feast It in 2017, as a booking platform for street food caterers for events like birthdays and weddings. Since then, we have grown to become the UK’s biggest events platform, covering food, drink, venues, photographers, and more.

Our mission is to help people create memorable moments on their special days, whether planning a company summer party, hosting a dinner, or organizing a festival. Our success relies on a carefully selected community of partners across the country.

We have collaborated with brands like Amazon, Nike, London Pride, and celebrities such as Tom Cruise, Star Wars, and Taylor Swift. Recognized for our workplace culture, we ranked #7 in the Startups 100 Awards and are in the top 15 of Tempo's 50 Best Places To Work. Our team is passionate and dedicated, making Togather a great place to work.

The Role:

Togather is revolutionizing the live events industry by providing high-quality food & beverage experiences, connecting event organizers with reliable suppliers through innovative technology and expertise. With a growing presence in the UK, we partner with industry leaders like IMG Events, Broadwick Live, U-Live, London Marathon Events, LIV Golf, and JOY Concerts.

As the Head of Business Development, you will be pivotal in our expansion, leveraging our rapid growth to achieve greater success. This is a unique opportunity to influence our trajectory towards becoming the leading provider of F&B services in live events.

Your goal will be to position Togather as the preferred choice for event organizers seeking concessions. By exploring the £12 billion UK live events market, you will develop exclusive partnerships and drive growth across various event types, including music festivals, sports events, winter light displays, county shows, and car & air shows.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Strategic Partnership Development: Create and implement strategies to grow Togather’s presence in the live events sector, focusing on high-value clients and securing exclusive contracts with promoters and organizers to boost revenue.
  2. Sales Process Management: Manage the sales cycle from lead generation to contract signing, working with teams to ensure smooth delivery and tracking KPIs to assess success and impact.
  3. Relationship Building: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders like event organizers, promoters, and venue managers, ensuring high satisfaction and long-term partnerships.
  4. Leadership and Mentorship: Lead and develop the partnerships team, fostering a high-performance culture and aligning efforts with business objectives.
  5. Market Research and Analysis: Conduct ongoing industry analysis to identify trends and opportunities, using insights to refine strategies and maintain a competitive edge.

Requirements include senior-level experience in the live events industry, a strong network within the sector, proven success in managing high-value partnerships, excellent negotiation skills, leadership abilities, a results-driven approach, and excellent interpersonal skills.

Our offices are in London with a hybrid working model requiring at least 3 days in the office weekly.

We value diversity and are committed to equal opportunities. We especially encourage applicants from underrepresented backgrounds to apply.

Benefits:
  • Generous holiday allowance (25 days)
  • Enhanced Pension
  • EAP services
  • Enhanced Maternity & Paternity leave
  • Free coffee, beer, pizza, and snacks at the office
  • Discounts at London's top restaurants and bars
  • Team socials and events
  • A new MacBook for work
  • Invitations to food-industry events (often with free food)
  • Dog-friendly office environment
