Job description

Sales Manager – Export

Responsibilities:

  1. Manage and develop existing export distributor accounts.
  2. Identify and establish new export distribution partnerships in targeted areas.
  3. Organize and oversee customer machine demonstrations at MSS premises when needed.
  4. Support sales activities and participate in industry exhibitions.
  5. Travel overseas up to 2 weeks per month.
  6. Provide technical guidance and sales presentations to potential export customers and distributors.
  7. Prepare sales support documentation.
  8. Negotiate and close sales with distributors and end users.
  9. Achieve sales and growth targets.
  10. Update MSS CRM with export contacts and sales pipelines.
  11. Contribute to direct marketing and social media efforts.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Proven track record in business development with distributor networks.
  • Experience selling capital equipment.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Results-oriented with a proactive attitude.
  • Flexible working hours and willingness to travel and stay away from home.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Location flexible, ideally near MSS offices in Rugby or international airports.
  • Valid UK driving license.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • At least 5 years of capital sales experience.
  • Experience in laser cutting, sheet metal working, or compressed gas industries.
  • Language skills in French and/or German.
  • Experience in export sales to end users or distributors.
  • Strong IT skills, especially with Microsoft Office, CRM, and LinkedIn.
  • Engineering qualification (HND or higher) is advantageous.
