Business Development Manager - Electronics (North)
With over 50-years of privately owned and specialist history, our client is a UK-based, CECC/BS approved distributor and manufacturer of high-reliability electronic components. To support their further sales growth particularly within aerospace, defence, rail and industrial sectors, they are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to support their existing and future relationships North of Birmingham, in Ireland and NI, as well as North Wales.
Their product portfolio includes passive, interconnect, power, magnetic, optoelectronic, and electromechanical components. Certified to AS9120 and ISO9001:2015, and accredited to BS9000, IECQ-CECC and JOSCAR, this hybrid based role is focused on the consultative/solution sales supply of embedded computing technology, computing peripherals, power suppliers, filters, displays etc... targeting a 'hunting' approach to grow relationships within these governmental and business clients, securing packages of work and continued sales development.
The Business Development Manager will manage existing relationships as well as generate new opportunities 'going to market' by penetrating deeper into the customer base with existing and new clients along with responsibility for developing new business.
Acting as the face of our client to new and prospective customers, promoting their product range, technical services, and long-standing reputation for reliability and quality, this role is ideal for a self-motivated individual with a solid background in B2B technical sales and an understanding of electronic components or the supply chain needs of high-reliability sectors. This role works with market-leading suppliers and blue-chip customers.
This is a strategic and solution orientated position which is seeking a strong and resilient approach with a passion for solutions engagement. Being pro-active and self-motivated, this position is supported by a strong salary base and bonus opportunity.
