DuPont Performance Building Solutions (PBS) offers high-performance products for architects, contractors, and developers, working from the ground up to find suitable construction materials and processes. Our products include air vapor control layers, breather membranes, sealing tapes, spray polyurethane foams, and more, marketed under brands like Tyvek, AirGuard, Insta Stik, Froth-Pak, and Great Stuff.

The EMEA Business Development Manager for PBS will drive regional growth by identifying new business opportunities, including partnerships, market segments, product applications, and business models.

The ideal candidate will have B2B product experience in the building industry, understanding industrial manufacturing channels, and be comfortable identifying market opportunities and strategic actions.

The role requires an energetic, enthusiastic individual who enjoys learning and problem-solving within a growing business.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop short and mid-term plans for PBS in EMEA, focusing on portfolio strategy, off-site/modular construction, fire resiliency, OEMs, and recurrent business development.
  2. Identify and pursue new business opportunities by understanding regional markets, competition, and customer needs.
  3. Align regional plans with global strategies and contribute to long-term initiatives based on new business insights.
  4. Increase product awareness and specifications among potential customers and influencers, supporting the sales pipeline.
  5. Collaborate with sales leaders on business model and distribution channel optimization.
  6. Work with technical, product, and marketing teams on new product opportunities and commercialization.
  7. Maintain and expand industry networks.
  8. Support marketing projects and daily tasks, including marketing programs, merchandising, promotions, and collaborations.

Qualifications – External:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, materials science, or chemistry.
  • Minimum 10 years of marketing and/or sales experience in B2B, with a proven track record.
  • At least 5 years of market or business development experience.
  • Deep understanding of the building industry and value chains; experience in off-site/modular and insulation segments is a plus.
  • Proven ability to lead growth projects and demonstrate business growth in responsible market segments.
  • Ability to build relationships and communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Decisiveness under uncertainty.
  • Innovative mindset, willing to challenge the status quo and lead change.
  • Fluency in English; additional languages are desirable.
  • Willingness to travel at least 30% of the time.
