What would you do as our Business Development Manager?

As our Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for the continued growth of sales revenues by promoting the ASSA ABLOY portfolio of Digital Access Solutions (DAS) products. A key part of the role will be focusing on developing robust business relationships within the Door Manufacturing (timber and steel) industry. You will also work with peers targeting end-user sectors such as Higher Education accommodation and Multi-Occupancy Developers.

You would also:

  • Understand the requirements of targeted markets and develop tailored solution sales approaches, especially within Door Manufacturing.
  • Work closely with stakeholders in targeted sectors to identify, qualify, negotiate, and close new business deals.
  • Collaborate with the Regional Specification and Channel Management teams to generate and deliver specifications to the targeted end-user sectors.
  • Prepare and deliver sales presentations and demonstrations that showcase product capabilities, focusing on sector-specific needs.
  • Attend and present at industry events and exhibitions.

The skills and experience you need

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has strong Business Development experience, preferably within the Door Manufacturing industry.
  • Has a good understanding of electronic security or building management products and technology solutions in the targeted sectors.
  • Has strong rapport-building and communication skills.
  • Is passionate about growing and developing our customer base.
