Overview

Business Development Manager & Director (2 roles available) Fully Remote (UK Based) | Up to £60,000 (Double OTE) + Benefits

Join a leading technology and communications provider delivering cloud, connectivity, cybersecurity, and IT solutions to organisations across the UK and Europe. In this role, you'll focus exclusively on new business generation within a defined public sector vertical, identifying and converting opportunities through proactive engagement, campaigns, and strategic account targeting. Working remotely, you'll manage your own pipeline and success plan, collaborate with marketing and technical teams on go-to-market initiatives, and position a broad IT portfolio—including Cyber, Cloud, UC, CCaaS, and Networking—within key public sector frameworks.

What we’re looking for
  • Proven track record in new business sales, ideally within IT, telecoms, or managed services
  • Strong understanding of public sector procurement frameworks (e.g. RM6116 NS3, RM6100 TS3, YPO, G-Cloud)
  • Skilled in profiling, prospecting, and pipeline management using tools such as Sales Navigator, Cognism, and HubSpot
  • Experience designing and delivering vertical-specific campaigns, events, and go-to-market strategies
  • Strong bid writing and proposal development skills (independent and self-sufficient)
  • Excellent process management and forecasting ability across the entire sales cycle
