About the role

As a Business Development Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving the growth and success of TSG by proactively identifying, pursuing, and securing new business opportunities within Cyber Security in the SME market.

This is a home-based role requiring regular team collaboration at our Team Valley Head Office; therefore, you must be located within a commutable distance.

Job responsibilities
  • Identify new business opportunities within defined guidelines and timelines.
  • Achieve sales targets consistently.
  • Build and maintain a substantial pipeline of qualified opportunities.
  • Research and understand market sectors to identify potential clients.
  • Forecast sales accurately by month and quarter.
  • Demonstrate TSG’s products and services, differentiating our offerings in the market.
  • Position solutions using value-based and consultative sales approaches.
  • Negotiate pricing and contractual terms within company guidelines.
  • Track progress against targets and adjust efforts as needed.
  • Ensure professional handover from Business Development to Client Management.
  • Continuously develop knowledge and skills.
  • Maintain a professional image at all times.
  • Complete all sales documentation and adhere to sales processes.
  • Develop leads through cold calling when necessary.
  • Engage in proactive sales planning, including GAP recovery and 30-60-90 day planning.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
  • Degree or equivalent preferred.
  • Experience selling to senior management and business owners.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to build rapport with stakeholders.
  • Adaptability and leadership in change management.
  • Excellent PowerPoint and presentation skills.
