Job description

Business Development Manager at high-profile London law firm. Aligned to their growing Corporate Technology practice. Based in Cambridge / Hybrid – Competitive Salary

This high-profile law firm is looking for a Business Development Manager to join their corporate tech team. The role will target emerging technology, life sciences and digital health businesses at all stages of their life cycle, as well as building relationships within the VC and investment space. This is a nice role with a great opportunity to build something from scratch as the practice and profile of the group grows.

Key Responsibilities include:
  1. Building an understanding of the market, and staying up to date with new innovation and trends;
  2. Developing profile raising strategies for the group and the lawyers;
  3. Working with the wider BD&M team in developing PR pieces, thought leadership and events for the group;
  4. Identify and develop key clients and intermediaries;
  5. Support with the firm’s Early Stage / Accelerator programme.

The role will suit a BD Manager or Senior Executive who’s ready to step up. Ideally, you will have exposure to supporting tech or corporate groups within legal. An interest and/or knowledge of the lifecycle of a start-up would be key!
