Business Development Manager - Construction & Infrastructure Projects

Salary & Benefits: Competitive salary plus quarterly bonus, with a choice of a car or a £6,850 car allowance.

Location: Hybrid role with flexible locations within Gloucestershire, Wiltshire, Berkshire, Oxfordshire, or nearby areas.

Role Overview: Manage, develop, and grow an agreed portfolio of major construction and infrastructure projects. The role requires a strategic, commercial, and forward-thinking approach to project management to deliver profitable revenue growth with main contractors and their supply chains.

  • Achieve revenue and market share targets for each project.
  • Research and identify significant major projects through market intelligence, creating a pipeline of opportunities and delivery strategies.
  • Create value-adding managed service partnerships with strategic clients across all aspects of major projects.
  • Maintain a pipeline of hire and training opportunities per project and oversee their conversion.
  • Develop strategic partnerships with clients focused on safety and sustainability for long-term opportunities.
  • Ensure contact plans with stakeholders are in place and maintained, utilizing Salesforce for documentation.
  • Resolve customer issues, using NPS data and feedback to improve satisfaction.
  • Implement account management techniques, aligning stakeholders from NWP and clients.
  • Continuously improve NWP's service offerings, presenting products and services effectively to project stakeholders.
