Job Title: Business Development Manager – Concrete Maintenance

Industry Sector: Concrete Repair, Concrete Pavement Maintenance, Rapid Strength Binder Technology, Infrastructure Owners, Airports, Industrial Operators, Roads, Highways, Industrial Floors, Dry Mix, Road Repair and Manufacturing Partners

Area to be covered: UK – ideally based in the Midlands

Remuneration: £45,000‑£60,000 + Bonus and Commission

Responsibilities
  • First UK salesperson on the ground opportunity for an established market leader in engineered binders for rapid‑strength concrete (looking for UK/Europe expansion)
  • Sell this innovative solution into predominantly road/highway maintenance contractors as well as airport contractors
  • Expand offering into Europe once established in the UK market
  • Apply technology trusted across roads, airports and industrial flooring projects to achieve faster, more reliable repairs
  • Typical project size circa 100 tonnes (£200,000), targeted to achieve 3,000 tonnes per annum
  • Work closely with existing UK manufacturing partner producer (based in the Midlands) and the first existing UK contractor (also based Midlands)
  • Lead pricing, tenders, and strategy discussions
  • Spend 3 days on the road, 2 days working from home focusing on strategy, lead generation and account development
  • Autonomous role as Country Lead, owning sales development and customer growth
Qualifications
  • Proven track record of field sales within construction, cement or building materials
  • Knowledge of cement/concrete technology
  • Network of road/highway maintenance contractors or airport maintenance contractors (preferred)
  • Appreciation of concrete applications for roads and airports
  • Autonomous, self‑sufficient and able to grow with the company, with a genuine pathway to senior BDM and leadership roles
  • Willingness to develop into Europe in the future
  • Approachable demeanor
