DESCRIPTION
Sales, Marketing and Global Services (SMGS) at AWS is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers. The AWS Global Support team interacts with leading companies and believes that world-class support is critical to customer success.
As a Premium Support Business Development Manager (BDM), you will drive the go-to-market (GTM) strategy for AWS Premium Support offerings, focusing on increasing adoption of paid support solutions while maintaining target margin performance. You will enable, execute, and drive the adoption of Media Support Solution (MSS) for media streaming workloads and lead the expansion of Incident Detection and Response (IDR) and Countdown Premium (CDP) for non-media streaming workloads.

Key job responsibilities

  1. Customer & Market Engagement:
    Engage customers and partners to understand and measure customer value and pain points in adopting Enterprise Support Services.
  2. Solution Adoption & Expansion:
    Lead the enablement and execution of MSS adoption among media streaming customers.
  3. Data-Driven Strategy & ROI Analysis:
    Analyze drivers of Enterprise Support Services adoption and quantify the impact of MSS, IDR, and CDP adoption.
  4. Commercial Innovation & Experimentation:
    Design and execute controlled experiments to refine support offerings.
  5. Field & Partner Enablement:
    Develop sales collateral and training programs for sales teams.
  6. Sales & Business Development Execution:
    Support end-to-end deal execution for Enterprise Support Services alongside the sales team.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  • 6+ years of developing, negotiating and executing business agreements experience
  • 6+ years of professional or military experience
  • 6+ years of experience in a role focused on creating and implementing organizational strategies.
  • Bachelor's degree

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience driving go-to-market (GTM) strategies for cloud-based media solutions.
  • Experience interpreting data and making business recommendations.
  • Experience identifying and executing complex legal agreements.
  • Experience managing programs across cross-functional teams.
