Role Overview:

We are seeking a high-performing Business Development Manager to lead new business acquisition for VINView Pro, JaaS API, web components and other solutions across the UK automotive dealer group, retailer, and independent dealer network. This is a hunter role, ideal for someone with a proven track record in new business sales, who thrives in a fast-paced, data-driven sales environment.

About VINViewPro:

VINView Pro is JATO’s latest innovation, designed to revolutionise how used vehicle data is accessed and utilised. It provides precise, VIN-level build sheet data, including factory-fitted options, original pricing, and full standard specifications. Available via API or web platform, VINView Pro empowers dealerships, insurers, and marketplaces to make informed decisions with confidence and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify, engage, and convert prospects within the UK automotive retail sector.
  • Develop and execute territory plans to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Articulate the value proposition of VINView Pro to prospective clients, demonstrating how it solves real-world challenges in vehicle data accuracy, pricing, and transparency.
  • Maintain a robust pipeline using CRM tools, ensuring accurate forecasting and reporting.
  • Conduct product demos, presentations, and workshops tailored to client needs.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and customer pain points to refine sales approach.
  • Work closely with marketing, product, and customer success teams to ensure smooth onboarding and client satisfaction.

Key Requirements:

  • 3–5 years of B2B sales experience, preferably in automotive, SaaS, or data solutions to the UK automotive sector.
  • Demonstrated success in new business development, with a strong portfolio of closed deals.
  • Deep understanding of the UK automotive retail landscape, including dealer groups and independents.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and comfortable working independently.
  • Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics, HubSpot).
  • Familiarity with API-based solutions and digital platforms.
