Overview

Business Development Manager - Automatic Doors (x2 positions)

Industry sectors include Automatic Doors, Contract Services, Doors, Sliding Doors, Entrance Systems, Access Control, Gate Automation, Automation Bollards, Security, Specification Sales, Construction Sales, Facades Consultants, Security Consultants, and related fields.

Locations: London & South East; Midlands. Two vacancies.

Remuneration: £45,000 - £50,000 + commission (OTE £65,000).

Benefits: £7,800 annual car allowance and comprehensive benefits package.

Responsibilities
  • Sell a high-quality manufactured range of automatic door and security systems.
  • Spend all time selling to end users, FM companies, fabricators, systems integrators, and security consultants.
  • Manage projects of varied sizes, typically ranging from £5k to £500k.
  • Collaborate with the dedicated specification team to support sales activity.
Ideal Candidate / Qualifications
  • Experience within door automation or a closely aligned industry.
  • Proven track record selling to end users, retail, healthcare, FM companies, local authorities, façade/aluminium fabricators, system integrators, main contractors, and specialist sub-contractors.
  • Ability to digest technical information and communicate it effectively.
  • Innovative thinker with a positive attitude; commercially astute and able to think outside the box.
  • Strong literacy, numeracy, and communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Hungry, proactive, and dynamic with a strong team player mindset.
