This opportunity is for a talented Business Development Manager to join us, based in London, managing both established and prospective clients in the APAC region. Location: Onsite, London, UK (Boston House, W1T 6EY), with regular international travel to the APAC region.

Contract Offered: Full-time, Permanent

Working Hours / Shifts: 40 hours per week.

What does this role involve?

This role will focus on driving our market expansion plans while also delivering across our existing sales targets via effective staff development and distributor management. The successful candidate will also build and manage a high-performing sales team, with the expectation of coaching and regular customer visits with your team.

  • Developing and implementing market expansions for a toxicology diagnostic product portfolio to increase sales.
  • Negotiating with senior stakeholders and implementing growth strategies.
  • Direct management of a sales team: Sales Executives, Tele Sales, Sales Support etc.
  • Recruit, train, and develop the Sales team to exceptional Sales/Business Development Executives and Team Leads.
  • Management of key accounts and distributors.
  • Face-to-face/field-based sales experience.
  • Accurately forecast and deliver on monthly/quarterly sales revenue targets.
  • Liaising with other internal departments such as Logistics, Marketing, Finance, QA etc.
  • Attend industry-specific seminars and exhibitions as required.
  • Regular travel to visit customers internationally (30% travel).

  • Right to work in the UK.
Desirable:
  • Experience of sales in the APAC region.
  • Life Science degree or medical sales background.
  • Stable work history showing progression.
