THE ROLE: The Business Development Manager will work in partnership with the commercial/clinical team to win new business and identify growth opportunities with existing customers. You’ll be driving the company strategy and generating better clinical outcomes and operational efficiency, selling medical capital equipment and mobility products such as – specialist beds, traction frames, mattresses, pressure ulcer prevention and pressure area care.

Day to day responsibilities will include;

  • Field based 4 days per week, selling face to face.
  • You will be targeting long term care; care homes, social care, loan stores.
  • Working alongside a Clinical Specialists within your territory who is responsible for pre and post sales activity i.e. evaluations, assessments, training and educating.
  • KPIs will be based on sales, winning new business from competitors and upselling into existing accounts
  • KOL engagement a key part of the job, identifying customer needs and providing solutions.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must have sold a premium product into the healthcare sector – NHS or long term care
  • Growth mindset – new business sales professional happy to knock on doors and win competitor business!
  • You must have a full driving licence, happy to travel 4 days per week and confident driving a transporter van on occasion.

The Package for Business Development Manager:

  • Basic: £40,000 – 47,500
