Business Development Manager - 12 month contract
Business Development Manager – full mixed role with the chance to be client-facing, aligned with the International Arbitration and Construction Disputes practice of this international law firm. This BD Manager role supports a global market-leading international arbitration and disputes practice. It offers the opportunity to work with a highly engaged group of partners and provides significant international exposure to offices and clients. The role includes support from an Executive and Senior Executive and involves key client responsibilities with potential for client-facing interactions. This position covers all aspects of business development and marketing. Daily responsibilities include:
- Preparation and implementation of business development plans aligned with strategic objectives
- Identifying and coordinating cross-selling opportunities with other practice areas, sector specialists, and relationship partners; developing strong sector team relationships
- Researching and analyzing to identify targets for practice/sector initiatives
- Liaising with partners and BD colleagues globally on drafting and managing practice and firm-wide pitches
- Managing key client relationships within the Firm's Client Growth Portfolio
- Coaching practice lawyers to develop BD skills and raise awareness of BD services
